Our family has been in the fitness industry for over 20 years combined. We pride ourselves in taking care of our members and our gym with the same pride as we take care of ourselves. We address each need with an individual approach that puts our members first; that is hard to match in the corporate club. We are a family owned fitness center and this has been our dream for many years. We have put a lot of hard work, hope and faith in the success of CORE Health & Fitness. We live and manage our facilities everyday by our Christian faith and our mission; to provide a non-intimidating, spiritual and inviting atmosphere that will allow you to lead a healthy lifestyle.

As a competitive UT cheerleader and nutrition major, it is not so surprising to those who know me, that the after graduation I did not take the path of many of my colleagues. Most Registered and Licensed Dietitian’s spend at least five years in the “hospital” setting but from the start I was drawn to preventive health. After graduation, I managed a clinic where we focused on the health benefits of breastfeeding to new mom’s and helped their families achieve wellness through proper nutrition.
Fitness was always a passion and hobby of mine but it was by chance that I met my first client. She was a new mom who wanted to feel and look as she had before her pregnancy. She felt her goals were unrealistic, unattainable and resigned to being tired and overweight. She lost more than just twenty-five pounds with me. She lost her can’t attitude and gained a confidence I have never seen before. I know this because she was more than just my client, she was my sister.
CORE Health & Fitness opened in June of 2005 and I have been so blessed that I have the opportunity to help many achieve “the unattainable”. My objective is to connect with each one of my clients and help them realize their goals can be achieved by first believing and then doing. A life change begins within and can come flourish with encouragement, guidance and determination. Nothing is more rewarding than watching my clients grow in health and confidence.

For some reason I thought I wanted to follow in my fathers footsteps in the family construction business. I loved his passion for the field and his willingness to take a leap of faith in starting his own company, but not construction. I had been Personal Training since the age of 17 and loved every minute of it. Training gave me spending money in college and helped pay the bills when soccer didn’t pay enough. Although training is my love, I have done every job imaginable in the fitness industry. After virtually managing a club for nearly two years my wife and I decided that we would take the same leap of faith as my father and start our own fitness center.
CORE Health & Fitness is now our pride and joy. We treat it as our newborn and love our members and clients. We have a daily opportunity to change people’s bodies, confidence and their quality of life. I know this is what we were meant to do.
