As a dietitian I understand the importance of a healthy diet for weight loss but, after having two children, simply restricting my calories was just not doing the job. I started seriously training with Missy, my little sister, in 2008 and I have never felt better.
I have lost a total of 24 pounds and have dropped 3 sizes. After a recent physical and an extensive fitness test I was told I was in the shape of a 26 year old! That sounds pretty good since I am turning 40 this year.
Today, I am stronger, have more energy and feel in better shape going into my 40’s than I ever did in my 30’s. Thanks sis, you have helped me to believe in myself again.
